Body Heat: It’s Heating Up All Right

This weekend we’re having the very first heat wave of the summer which makes me, of course, want to break out a white dress and a melon colored lip gloss—a la temptress extraordinaire Kathleen Turner in the 1981 steamy neo-noir classic Body Heat.

I seriously LOVE Body Heat with all it’s southern balminess, sweaty seduction and dark betrayal, it’s a wholesome family movie

Kathleen is the ultimate in ’80s feline perfection in this film, just jaw dropping really, and the chemistry between her and William Hurt is that of silver screen legend.

If you haven’t seen this film before or even if it’s just been a while, I highly recommend you go on a hot date with this movie soon, just don’t blame me when you break a sweat.
