Jennifer Garner: Variety’s Power of Women Luncheon

Yesterday was a celebration of generosity here in Hollywood, with some of the most important women in the business coming together for Variety’s 2nd Annual Power of Women Luncheon. Women like Jennifer Garner, Diane Lane, Katie Holmes, Anne Hathaway and Eva Mendes were in attendance, being honored for their charitable work and discussing what makes each of their unique charities personally important to them.

I worked with the ever radiant Jennifer Garner who was being recognized for her work for Save the Children. Jennifer is an openly dedicated mother so it makes total sense why an incredible organization like Save the Children would be close to her heart. It really is wonderful to see these outstanding women coming together and using their influence to rally love and support for all of these important causes. Jen has to be one of the most a natural beauties I’ve ever seen, doing her make up is kinda like cheating on my homework. Really, it’s not fair. :) I love to play up her gorgeous brown eyes so yesterday I used a mixture of chocolate brown and champagne pink from Chanel’s limited edition Soho Collection Eyeshadow Quad “Stupendous” for an ultra feminine daytime version of a smokey eye. On her cheeks and lips I used sheer pastel pinks keeping her make up both relaxed and sophisticated at the same time. Her luminous skin is a combination of Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin foundation mixed with a lightweight moisturizer and applied with a beauty blender sponge (my secret weapon.) I finished the look by majorly amping up her lashes: first by curling them twice, then applying two coats of my favorite new mascara Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara in black. Seriously, I wear it every day myself and it’s AMAZING!

Love this woman, love this cause, love this make up. All in all I’d say it was a beautiful day.
