Emma Stone: The Help Premiere
What an amazing moment! I’ve been anticipating the movie The Help coming out for such a long time now I can’t believe it’s here! I read Kathryn Stockett’s best selling book the second Emma told me she was cast to play Eugenia “Skeeter” Phelan. That was almost two years ago now and I’ve been anticipating seeing her and all the amazing actresses in the film bring the unforgettable characters I fell in love with in the book to life on the big screen ever since. Hello, Viola Davis? I would seriously watch that woman read the dictionary!
For the premiere Emma wore a gorgeous pale grey and pink Chanel Couture dress with delicate pink beading. I decided to keep her make up soft and subtle as well. I used a shimmering taupe color across her entire eyelid all the way up to her eyebrow then a petal pink blush on her cheeks and Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss in Crystal Lilac on her lips. (Emma just recently became a spokesperson for the brand.)
I love what a big departure this is from a lot of the looks we’ve been doing over the last few months and felt like it was the perfect choice for the night.
I think the thing I’m the most grateful for working with Emma all these years is the great collaborative energy we have and the trust level I share with her, her stylist Petra Flannery and her hairdresser Mara Roszak. We all have so much fun working together, it gives new meaning to the saying “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”

Do you recall all the products you see for this look? I think it’s possibly one of my favorite celebrity looks ever. Great job. I’d love to try and recreate it on myself. Thanks in advance!
You, like Emma, are phenomenally talented. You nailed this look. You both did a wonderful job for Revlon, by the way, as I just ordered that lipgloss. I love it! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
