Lea Michele: InStyle Summer Soiree

Summer may be winding down but party season seems to be just be getting started! Last night InStyle hosted their annual summer fete at The London in Hollywood and Lea Michele was there looking gorgeous in a flowing black floor length Alberta Ferretti ready to celebrate! Even after her first day back at work filming the new season of Glee followed by an afternoon of recording Lea still brought her red carpet A game. This woman is a dynamo!

Her hair was swept up in an elaborate ballerina bun and given a braided leather headband a la Mark Townsend. Her nails were painted a perfect tonal nude by the awesome naildresser to the stars Jenna Hipp and her eyes were rimmed with midnight blue pencil by none other than moi.

I love doing Lea’s make up, she totally gets the whole process and is so much fun to talk to while doing it. Did I mention that her skin is like butter?

Just saw that this look was named InStyle’s Look of the Day today, I’d like to say I’m surprised but this girl is on a serious fashion roll, watch out!
