Emma Stone: Met Ball 2012
I swear Emma looked like a fashion confection this year! Her dress was created especially for her by her hot date for the night, infectiously irreverent genius designer Alber Albaz. I mean, does it any get better than that? What a dream! The two have collaborated before but this year’s dress was truly a work of art, so uber feminine and playful. Did I mention it was covered in plastic flowers from India? It was plain perfection. Her make up was meant to look like what a girl would wear to her ballet recital. The tiniest swipe of liquid liner, lashes and baby pink cheeks and lips. Here’s a quick breakdown below on what I used to create her look.
“I paired a classic eye shape with whimsical lashes and transparent red lips for an ultra feminine ballerina inspired look,” said Rachel.
“To accentuate her eyes, I lined her upper lids with a very fine line of Revlon black liquid liner, as well as two coats of Revlon Photo Ready 3D Volume mascara in black. I also added some individual lashes to the outer edges, giving her eyes a slightly retro feeling.”
I used the following products for Emma’s red carpet look:
Face REVLON PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup in Shell, $34.95 {“I blended a bit of Revlon PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup for a natural look that allowed her freckles to come through,” said Goodwin.} REVLON Powder Blush in Berry Rich, $26.95
Eyes REVLON ColorStay Liquid Liner in Black, $25.95 REVLON ColorStay 16H Eyeshadow Quad in Precocious, $25.95 REVLON Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara in Blackest Black, $21.95 REVLON ColorStay Eyebrow Liner in Blonde, $21.95
Lips REVLON ColorBurst Lip Butter in Cherry Tart, $21.95 {“I finished the look with Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in Cherry Tart on her mouth for a hydrated translucent easy to maintain red lip,” said Rachel.}

She looks absolutely stunning! Lovely makeup!
Do you teach? I always go to LA on vacation. I would love to have some classes with you. If you don’t, do you know any good makeup classes I could attend? I love makeup and I do myself, friends and family only. I am trying to start a blog about it but I feel I need to learn a lot! Thanks and all the best.
